    Deezer on MySqueezebox.com

    Hi,

    since yesterday the Deezer section of MySqueezebox.com does not allow me to search for music.
    Instead it offers only music genres and the Smartradio option.

    How can I use it as before?

    Oh! I also experience the issue that while listening through Deezer each song would only play for a limited number of seconds prior to skipping to the next one as if it was scanning all the songs...

    What kind of subscription do you have? Doesn't the Smartradio option give
    you the option to search for an artist to start a radio station? What did
    the old search do for you?

    Hi Michael,

    SmartRadio allows me only to key the EXACT name of an artist and then chose for me similar artists to listen to.

    (the exact name is, as other have already reported a bit of a nuisance...)

    Anyway, my subscription to Deezer is the Premium version for which I pay 4,99/month.

    I have now by-passed the "music search" issue by using the iPhone Squeezebox App and searching before getting into the Deezer section, then chosing to listen through Deezer.
    However I still get the "scan" issue I have reported in my previous post by modifying it.

    Ouch... I'll investigate this issue...

    That would be the 30s only preview. Something's wrong there...

    Experienced same problem after 6 month of smooth operation. Suddenly are all option missing, just offering Smartradio genres and playing just 30 seconds of track. I wrote to Deezer as well, no answer till now...:-((

    Yeah, we've got a problem here: our previous implementation stopped
    working because Deezer's API would start returning invalid streaming URLs.
    The new implementation (using a newer API) does not show this issue any
    more, but all but Premium+ would not get the full streams any more, only a
    preview (max. 30s).

    I escalated the case and hope to hear back from really soon. Please be
    patient while I'm working on this. Thanks for your understanding!

    I'm having exactly the same problem. Just started yesterday. I have an active Deezer Premium membership which I have had for many months. As of yesterday I just get the 'free' options of Smart Radio and a 30 sec preview of songs. Napster is still working fine.

    In order to be able to listen to music I have opened-up a momentary napster account...

    ...BUT it does not work for me on my MySqueezebox.com Remote...
