You could enable debug logging for plugin.qobuz
(Settings/Advanced/Logging), navigate to the playlists, then send me a
full copy of server.log.zip (from the above page).

An option that I am really missing with the plugin is the automatic playlist from the native app.
DSTM is an alternative but have never had as good results as the Qobuz app.
Based on what I remember from reading these pages, I understand that Qobuz is not sharing api documentation anymore. Correct?
Is there any way to push Qobuz to help integrating new features: after all there are quite a few of us subscribing to their service thanks to the existing plugin…
Happy to contact their support and try to get their attention… Even though it won’t lead to something concrete I m afraid :-)

I've actually been in touch with them a few weeks back. I fail
"certification": in order to get access to those APIs I'd have to
improve the listening reporting. Those requirements unfortunately are
pretty complicated, and some of it I wouldn't even know how to implement
correctly off the top of my head (eg. listening time respecting seeking
action backwards and forwards: "Listening with Forward, Backward,
Pause... Total time upper than track duration" :-)). I'm pretty sure it
could be done. But I don't have the bandwidth to do this.

The repository is https://github.com/pierrepoulpe/SqueezeboxQobuz - any
    PR would be welcome.

I've put in a heartfelt plea for a relaxation of the requirements for Squeezebox / LMS via the Qobuz support page - told them it's a community project, users would love to be able to access Qobuz direct but limited resources, etc etc. It convinced me, anyway! I thought a sob story approach was most likely to be successful so fingers crossed. I'll report back if I get a response!

If Qobuz eases up on the requirement, maybe as a compromise implement a money grab a $1 fee on top of monthly subscription to obtain an api key that we use in LMS so we can get full functionality.

Do you have “real” user numbers to assist in persuading them?

No, I don't. I didn't even create the client ID myself, but inherited it
from Pierre, the original plugin author.

    Response:-

Unfortunately, for security reasons, our API cannot lower the requirements needed.
We have transferred your request to the technical team, so they can think on the possibilities of the future developments.

We wish you a lovely day!

    Oh, well - I tried.

Because of some issues with internet service, I currently have the Qobuz plugin set to use "FLAC Hi-Res 24 bits / 96 kHz" as the preferred format. When I play a file with 192 kHz sample rate, LMS displays the original sample rate:

    Code:
    File Format: FLAC
    Bitrate: 3345kbps CBR
    Sample Rate: 192.0 kHz
    Sample Size: 24Bits
On one DAC that makes it easy to check status, I see that what's playing is actually 96 kHz.

What's happening here? Shouldn't Qobuz be handling any downsampling, sending a 96 kHz stream? The information displayed suggests Qobuz is sending the original 192 kHz stream and LMS is having to transcode, But that would negate the purpose of that setting, so I doubt that's the case.

As far as I can tell, everything seems to be working as it should (for me, anyway). It's just that the info display is confusing. But I can live with some confusion.
Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge). Occasionally using SB Radio, Boom or Classic.
