    Qobuz.com streaming plugin

    > Qobuz v1.900 - no audio

    You seem to have a lossless subscription, correct? What extensions do
    the tracks added to the queue have? Despite your subscription level the
    plugin seems to be requesting mp3 file.s

    Could everybody having playback problem check what subscription they
    have, and whether the files being played are flac or mp3? What if you
    selected lossy as your preferred playback method?

    Have they been verified and accepted?

    You could enable debug logging for plugin.qobuz in
    Settings/Advanced/Logging to get more information about what the plugin
    is doing.

    > P.S. there's no info on "Logitech" in the Qobuz help library nor clear

    The Qobuz plugin is a third party plugin. It's not supported by Logitech.

    Michael -- The plugin is working fine, thanks. I was confused between the screen name for Qobuz and the login. Once I used the login, everything worked well -- thanks for the great work. I'm impressed with the LMS integration and Qobuz itself. -- David

    Umm.
    Yes lossless subscription.
    The file type is reported as FLAC but the bitrate is reported as 320kbps!
    That’s in both iPeng and Material

    I have a lossless subscription. Vers 1.531 with LMS 8.0.0 is working fine. Vers. 1.900 is not working.

    Are you confirming that despite having a premium subscription you'd get
    MP3, but the file would think it was playing flac? That would explain
    why there's no sound. I'll look into this.

    Can you please confirm what the URL for such a track would be (click an
    entry in the play queue), when it's not working?

    Yes.

    If I have Qobuz plugin set for FLAC it seems I get mp3s into the queue but with .flac extension and they won't play. The track properties say FLAC but at 320kbps.
    If I reset Qobuz at mp3 then I get mp3 and it works.

    I'm now out on business for a couple of days and won't be able to provide a URL I'm afraid but when I looked last night in both Material & iPeng I am 100% sure the track info via More / More Info said File Format FLAC, bitrate 320kbps and URL as Qobuz://XXXXXXX.flac.

    Ok, ok, I think I've found the culprit: this could happen if you had your preferred Qobuz format set to FLAC, but NOT HiRes FLAC. Stupid mistake on my end...

    If you don't want to wait for the update (I'm in the middle of some more re-factoring...), you can edit API.pm with the following minor change:

    Code:
    diff --git a/API.pm b/API.pm
    index c6850c1..e9873d7 100644
    --- a/API.pm
    +++ b/API.pm
    @@ -514,7 +514,7 @@ sub getFileInfo {
     	if ($format =~ /fl.c/i) {
     		$preferredFormat = $prefs->get('preferredFormat');
     		if ($preferredFormat < QOBUZ_STREAMING_FLAC_HIRES) {
    -			$preferredFormat = QOBUZ_STREAMING_MP3;
    +			$preferredFormat = QOBUZ_STREAMING_FLAC;
     		}
     		elsif ($preferredFormat > QOBUZ_STREAMING_FLAC_HIRES) {
     			$preferredFormat = QOBUZ_STREAMING_FLAC_HIRES2;
    That should get you lossless streaming back.
