What the heck you're doing?!?! I wouldn't even know how to get to see
such messages when doing copy/paste of a file... Seriously, you must be
doing something really wrong to get to see something like that. Just
double click the .dmg, copy/paste the SqueezePlay file in there.

Feel free to describe how you got the above log file. But I doubt it has
anything to do with what you should be doing :-D.

I am not "doing" anything other than trying to run SqueezePlay.app
That is the output when you try to run it.

It's looking for those dependicies in the .dmg. and I was pretty sure it would not work .
This is not the normal way to install apps on a Mac. It doesn't look like this software is going to properly install on a M1 as long as Apple keeps blocking it.

Did you copy it out of the .dmg file to your app folder?

This is usually caused when you try to run squeezeplay from somewhere other than /Applications on the mac.
It only works when installed in /Applications/SqueezePlay.app/

So to have a certificate is the only way to go? Could the build be
signed outside the build machine?

No I don't know if that's the only way to work around the issue. But seemed the best place to start.

According to Apple you can sign the app manually. https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/130855

I uploaded SqueezePlay-M1-8.0.1r1368.dmg to sourceforge yesterday, which was built on my intel macair, if you wanted to try signing it.

It only works when installed in /Applications/SqueezePlay.app/

Yesterday when I got those errors it was the the Applications folder. After I saw this message, I created a folder under Applications called SqueezePlay.app and moved SqueezePlay to that subdirectory.

Now it's no longer displaying those error messages but it doesn't work ether.

I am very new to LMS and honestly stumbled onto by pure accident and now trying to setup clients on all my devices so who knows maybe doing something wrong.

This system works very well and I can't understand why Logitech would drop it.

I use their remotes and hubs and heard they might drop those too. Hope not.

You're doing too many things. Really: just copy/paste SqueezePlay from
the .dmg file to your Application folder. Don't create folders, don't
add .app to anything. Just copy/paste the file. Then run the command I
posted earlier.
