    WMA Radio streaming

    This thread seems to have moved away from my original question and the bugfix by Vidur hasn't helped the WMA stream http://stream.servstream.com/ViewWeb.../BBCRadio6.asx to work. Any ideas why?

    WMA Radio streaming

    Okay, I looked at the ASX file and it contained two MMS streams:

    <asx version="3.0">
    <entry>
    <ref href="mms://212.58.231.99/b3o5c011s2?digest=01418eacd3nvMcaxXTPgFDB1dEXJKWPy P3SNY=&provider=BBCRadio_music"/>
    <ref href="mms://212.58.231.99/b3o6c011s3?digest=01418eacd3I+JPtbXNRrXqazfX/sPqZPgwZCI=&provider=BBCRadio_music"/>
    </entry>
    </asx>

    I took the first MMS stream (the bit after the ? does indeed change
    every time I download the ASX file, but in the five minutes I've
    tested it, it's worked fine) and I pasted it into the Internet Radio
    url box on the server, and I am now listening to Marc Riley's show (he
    just played a Pretty Things song and now a cover of the Walker
    Brothers' "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore", which is quite good).

    So, the server seems to still having trouble parsing the stream out of
    the ASX file, but it will allow me to put the MMS in myself, so that's
    progress.

    Go ahead and give a try, and let me know if Marc Riley's show is
    usually this good. As a Yank, I've little experience.
