Hi, in the past I used the custom kernel #12 with EDO that worked well with my Teac UD-501 DAC via USB. After resetting the squeezebox and reinstalling EDO I'm now searching for a solution how to download and install that custom kernel again. Triode's kernel updater applet, which I used before, is no longer available in the applet list. Any thoughts?
Thanks, King Crimson

Triode's applets and kernels are probably on google code which is being retired by Google.
PM michael (mherger) about the issue. Michael rehosted (no support just hosting the files) Triodes' plugins when they went offline and so may consider the applets in the same way if they are still accessible.

If Irc Triode used to host these kernels and then took them down because of lack of space, he re-instated them for a short while, to help some folk out, but then they disappeared again, so they might not be on the google code, these are the only ones I can find with a quick search.

I've managed to find most of the Enhanced Digital Output (EDO) and Setup Kernel Updater (SKU) applet components and created a repository for them. I've updated the EDO version to 0.9 and the SKU to 0.2 to differentiate them from the original. The only change I've made is to the URLs for the kernel and xml files.
EDIT: Michael has added this URL to the LMS main repository file. You no longer need to add it.
Add this URL to Settings->Plugins->Additional Repositories in the LMS web gui.
Code:http://ralph_irving.users.sourceforge.net/edo/edo-repo.xml
I was unable to find the following 5 custom test kernels from Triode's original install. If anyone has these bin files and is willing to share them, I'll add them to the Kernel Updater menu.
Code:http://xdevtriodeplugins.xpdev-hosted.com/kernel-test7.bin http://xdevtriodeplugins.xpdev-hosted.com/kernel-test8.bin http://xdevtriodeplugins.xpdev-hosted.com/kernel-test9.bin http://xdevtriodeplugins.xpdev-hosted.com/kernel-test10.bin http://xdevtriodeplugins.xpdev-hosted.com/kernel-test13.bin
