Missing tracks in LMS

I recently ripped BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge Volume 6 using EAC but the CD was not in Freedb So I used one of the plug in's for the tag information.

I used Mp3tag to format the track information.

Album showing as either -
BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 6 [CD1]
or
BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 6 [CD2]

Not all the tracks are showing in LMS, numerous ones are missing.

This is the first time this has happended to me, I've attached a pic of the mp3tag screen. All 40 tracks contain the same amount of tagging information.

And in the extended tag dialog no conflicting info like track total .

You don't need the disc number tag if you are giving them different album titles.

If you are using the exact same album name then the disc nr tag is relevant .

It then becommes usefull in other options like gruop compilations together or not.

This seems to be a specific issue wit LMS.

The tag information is correct for some reason LMS thinks the artist is 'Various Artists'

When the file is playing on the SB the file information is displayed correctly!

It doesn't help when trying to find tracks by album.

Following a full rescan it has vanished from the album list under B but can find it under the artist Jessie J.

Is this LMS going wrong on my dockstar ?

First, are all the tracks divided by folder for the different album titles you've given them, eg,

z:\BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 6\[CD1]\
and
z:\BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 6\[CD2]\

or are they all together in the same folder
z:\BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge - Volume 6\

Second, have you added a COMPILATION=1 tag to all the tracks?

How do you set the compilation tag ? I've not had to do this for any other albums including previous live lounge albums.

open album tracks in mp3tag. select all, then choose extended tags. click on the little "paper with star" icon to right of metadata listing. This will add a new field. in drop down menu either choose COMPILATION or type it in. Value will be simple "1" (without ""). Then be sure to save.

I'm not sure this is your problem, but you've told LMS that this is two different compilation albums (because you have two different ALBUM tags), but you've stuffed them in the same folder. Are your other Live Lounge albums multi-disc and tagged the same way?
