The web interface offers to restart the server after a plug in is installed.
Is there a direct way to trigger a restart of the server from the web interface (without having to manipulate the plug in configuration) ?

No. You could telnet in to the server though, using port 9090. Then type
"restartserver".

It may be overkill for this particular task, but the ServerPowerControl plugin has a control in the web ui that allows you restart SBS, among other things. See the long thread in the 3rd Party Software forum. There are other plugins that you can use to do an SBS restart, but I'm not sure which of them support restarting SBS in the web interface.
