Mixcloud plugin?

finaly got some time tot test things.
It plays fine on a squeezebox radio.
but on my picoreplayer it stops at around 10 20 minutes, as said before:
here's the log, maybe someone could look at it.

Am i correct in thinking the plugin doesnt work with duet receivers? it is working great on my radio, but will not start a stream on the receiever.

I've just managed to play it on a dual receiver. It didn't work to start with, and pause/play was no responding properly once the track had started. But if I started from the beginning of the track I got dual synced players.

It still stopped after 10 mins though, and wouldnt restart without a reboot

The issue is about Mixcloud not playing MP4 on players which do not have native AAC (e.g. Receiver, Boom, Classic, SB2, Trasnporter, Squeezeplay)

This is due to no default support for transcoding MP4 streams on LMS - there is support for MP4 files.

Support for streaming MP4 can be added via the ffmpeg application.
After installing ffmpeg on your system - then you need a additional rules for MP4 conversion via ffmpeg.
For easy install I have packaged the custom-convert.conf file into a "plugin" called PlayMP4. ffmpeg must be installed separately.
The MP4 plugin can be installed using the repo URL below (i.e. add the URL to the "Additional Repositories in LMS WebUI Settings/Plugins )

So are you saying if I paste the sourceforge URL here:

I did paste the sourceforge URL and hit the enter key as per suggestion by BPA. I still am not seeing the plugin.

I don't know what I did, but the playmp4 plugin is available now. My old Squeezebox will play Mixcloud files for the first time. Thank you for the continued development and support that keeps my Classic and Boom working.

I updated my LMS on Raspberry Pi to "logitechmediaserver_7.9.2~1572699180_all.deb" released November 02 2019 06:20. Since then the Mixcloud Plugin doesn't work. Anyone have the same experience or a solution?

something has happened over the past week as it was working fine I have posted this on another thread and Paul Webster has run a quick test that revealed that

From a quick test on their site ... it looks like there now needs to be a "/" at the end
