Squeezeplay installation problem

I have just downloaded the latest version of squeezeplay from here http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nig...ex.php?ver=7.6
(I am currently using softsqueeze which works fine) Squeezeplay appears to install on my Windows XP machine; the icons appear and it's in my start menu, but won't actually open properly - I get a very quick flash of an interface but it goes away!
Any ideas?

Exactly same problem. Keen to know what the problem is as have it working on several other machines with no problem.
