    iPod not very loud (Line-in)

    When I plug my iPhone 4 into the line-in jack to play the built-in iPod, it's not very loud. I have the iPhone volume turned up to max, and also the Squeezebox's. It gets loud enough to listen to at a mid-range volume, but I can't play it loud at all.

    Am I doing something wrong? Can others get their iPhone/iPod to play loudly?

    You probably need to adjust the Boom's line in volume level.

    Settings->Audio->Line In Level

    It defaults to 50% if I remember correctly.
    Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well. What ?
    I SAID ALL OF THEM !

    That did it... thanks!

    And yes, it does default to 50%. I pumped it up to 85% and it sounds great with no distortion.
