It was getting better but it loses connection after playing 5 songs or so, thought it was a conflict with my phone but has happened when phone wasn't in the room.
So maybe it's to with my reuter which is a linskys, is there anything i can do with the squeezebox settings to make it more stable?

Hi there
Best way to prove what it is, is to connect (just temporarily) with a cable (ethernet cable, between your router and your SB). If it is stable like that, then try one more time with your wireless connection. That way, you'll be sure if the problem is your home network, or elsewhere.

What model is your router? Have you looked it up in the compatibility list?

Is your Radio losing connection with router? Or just your server?
When it happens make note of the color of the WiFi icon on the Radio screen.
Red = not connected to router
Blue = connected to router, not connected to server (SBS or MySB.com)
White = connected to server (SBS or MySB.com)
Also, any chance of IP conflict? Two devices have been assigned the same IP address?

It's going red. as for a conflict, I thought all devices using the same internet connection would have the same ip address or should they all be different?

Each device on the network (your router) must have a different IP address assigned by the router. The router then uses a single IP address to communicate with your ISP modem and the internet itself. If two devices on your network have the same IP address you can expect such issues as devices disconnecting from the router.

SB player > Settings > player info
As for any other devices on your network like a computer how you find out the IP varies. For Windows computers double click the icon that shows your PC is connected to your network.
