    I might have been a bit hasty with this decision. I just tried ripping an album through the Cyrus 1 that I had previously ripped through the UFO202 phono input and they sounded indistinguishable. So the only real benefit of using the Cyrus 1 is a much higher level that I don't need to boost in Audacity by around 8 or 9 dBs.

    With the discussion of vinyl matters over the last few days, I can share that I am listening to Are You Experienced by the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It's my old vinyl copy, paired with Axis Bold As Love that I bought over 40 years ago. Not only did it survive the Great Vinyl Burglary, but it's still in great nick.
