+1
EZ CD Converter usually gives me a choice of 6 -8 options and most of these have generally improved over the years but I still get some of these symptom:
Titles - not in title case/incorrect spelling (has improved on many databases)
Genres - according to whom?
Year - album recorded or published?
Album Artist - sometimes missing album cover artists
Track Artist - many times insufficient when different to Album Artist
Album Art variable quality (I find Gracenote usually has reasonable quality cover images)
Too much extraneous stuff
etc etc
You think you're grumpy

My biggest bugbear is variable capitalisation and also and/&. Oh and bands that change their name slightly with different albums. It's a bit of irritation when Spotify has an artist capitalised differently that my collection...
My general grumpiness is declining with advancing years!

I’ve recently seen artists on Qobuz that appear to be named exactly as I have them in my local library appear as a separate entry in LMS 8 with online library integration. I haven’t interrogated the database yet but I think it must be some white space.
I think my overriding bug bear is and/&.
I’ve got physical media where the artist uses & on everything but Allmusic only recognises and.VB2.4 storage QNAP TS419p (NFS)

I've been playing the recently released expanded edition of Author! Author! by the Edinburgh post-punk band Scars. Originally released in 1981, this is one of those LPs I never bought at the time owing to limited financial resource and I'd hankered after a copy for many years. A few years ago I got a vinyl copy via mail order that was so pristine it must have sat for decades on a record shop shelf! There was a CD version available for a short time, but I never managed to get hold of a copy.
This collection brings together a CD of demos and a CD of live recordings with the remastered Author! Author! which itself has bonus tracks. It's not on Spotify, not sure of other streaming services.
