IMHO the advantage of VinylStudio (once you have worked out how it works) it the splitting and tagging time savers. To get a full album ripped tagged and into the right place for LMS is album duration plus about 10 mins whereas I found that with Audacity its at least album duration x 2

Any fans of classical music here? I am listening to Denis Matsuev and Vanessa Mae right now. Two most talented representatives of our decade. Guess should buy them on vinyl. Vanessa is the reason why my daughter decided to play the violin, electric one, though

Mr Abel's Fine Airs - Carl Friedrich Abel

Mr Abel's Fine Airs - Music for solo viola da gamba - Suzanne Heinrich, vdg (Hyperion 2007).

I'm happy! I managed to get Foobar 2000 to output to my Squeezebox and be able to listen to it while at my PC and also when I go into the kitchen to make a sandwich or the basement to brew beer.

    Cheers and good listening!

    Les

I prefer their previous album Your Wilderness. And their next one Versions of The Truth will be released beginning of Sept.

The new album by Fontaines D.C. - A Hero's Death, out today. I've been playing this via Spotify while I await delivery of the 2 x LP (45rpm version). It's a bit of a grower, I think, so I'm looking forward to some more listening.
