Listening to Tash Sultana - Flow State

A friend pointed this album out to me. I found it resembles Selah Sue a bit, which I like as well.
The recording quality is unfortunately also of this day and age but the music is great. Tash is definitely a very talented artist.

Listening to Wispering Sons - Image

This is the debut album of a Belgian band. They claim to bring post punk music but I find their style to be more new wave.
At least, their music triggers flashbacks of that period...
Anyway, what's in a name; it's a great record (bought on vinyl)!

Just listened to the first few tracks on Spotify. I think they must be Joy Division fans.

Evil Blizzard - VILEVILIVE. Vinyl copy (with download code) arrived at work today. I suspect the sleeve picture may have traumatised my colleagues. I have a bit of a soft spot for these guys, who claim to be "The Worst Show On Earth"!

I picked this up on Record Store Day (vinyl w/download). It is the set that Sly & the Family Stone played at Woodstock. At the time, their Stand! album was just released and their set focused on those new tracks. Their set started at 3:30 in the morning makes me how many people we fully awake for this. It's an impressive and energetic set.

Fontaines D.C. - Dogrel - the debut album from this Irish band is receiving a fair bit of praise, and I think rightly so. Available on streaming, and Qobuz has a special on Hi-Res if that floats your boat.
