Hi all

The plugin called ExtendedIO.pm is up to date
and works fine with Squeezebox.
As Kevin mentioned it needs some additional
hardware connected to the geek port. I have
currently hooked up an old remote control
(that happened to be compatible with my amplifier
after tweeking the timing a little bit) that
turns the amplifier on and off.
The ultimate thing would be a programmable /
learnable remote control, but I didn't find the
time yet to come up with a easy solution.
