    SB html5 audio elements

I was wondering if it is possible to create a plugin for sites like youtube who already have implemented html5 audio/video. Can someone tell me if SB is be able to stream those html5 audio elements?

Its somewhat possible to stream any sound the computer produces through its soundcard using the waveinput plugin. But you generally won't get A/V sync for things such as Youtube.

    Thanks for your response.
The missing functionallity for SB is that you aren't able to search/browse through internetsites like youtube on your squeezebox to listen the music. I am wondering if it will be possible when using the new html5 elements (instead of the flv format) to parse the music directly on the SB.

I think I see the point - but I'm not sure how big of a difference it makes as of today. Squeezebox'es, and in particular the server, uses dedicated API's for accessing services such as Last.fm, Rhapsody, Pandora, etc.

And the issues of A/V sync would still be there.
