SB3 volume control on digital out

Hi, I use the squeezebox 3 and an external DAC, the dac is connected directly to my poweramp, so I use the volumecontrol in the SB3. Works great, but I would like the minimum output to be lower and it would be nice to change log scale output of the SB3. is there anyway to change this?, it must be done in the software as it is the digital out I am using the variable volume on.

    Best Regards

If you're using Squeezebox Server and you are running the Perl version (Mac and Linux do this; it takes some work to allow running the Perl code on Windows), then you have some flexibility for changing the volume curve by editing Squeezebox2.pm.
