    I'm not Phil but..

Thats not really the same problem ( but similar ) but I think there is a solution. Radio streams are normally sent direct to the player they don't pass the server (unless you sync) even if control is done by the server.

Under player settings audio you have "MP3 streaming method" Try "proxied streaming" instead of direct "streaming" this apply to all formats not only mp3, so then I think the server can read the stream and decide whats the right thing to do.

The transcoder application may take its input from various sources:

    • I = audio data comes from standard input (then LMS must read and pipe it to the transcoder)
    • F = audio data comes directly from a file
    • R = audio data comes directly from a remote URL

Not all programs work with every source

Thanks for clearing that up, was scratching my head on those. Also, why is that "From" column there to begin with, as in how does it give the LMS user relevant information? And, why is the column there without a little description of what those letters mean! OMG!

    Thanks, Philippe!

Ha, funnily enough I was going to ask the same question about I/F/R because I was trying to troubleshoot an issue and couldn't remember seeing them in earlier versions of LMS!
