    What happened to Squeeze Center?

I've upgraded to server version 7.4.x from 7.3.x.

Now I can't find any thing like the old interface that let me launch music from my computer or, more importantly, search out archived episodes of on-line NPR radio programs.

    What am I missing?

    Thainks in advance.

    In browser: http://127.0.0.1:9000
You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...

    Thanks fellas.

First lemme say I'm running a Mac.

That page used to come up, as I recall, when I clicked on some button on the old Squeeze Server Preference panel.

But the current, re-designed preference panel, as far as I can see, doesn't have that button.

So, anyway, I clicked that link, and my computer tells me it cant' connect to the server.

Wait a sec...that might be because I have it turned off....

Hah! Et viola! (to misquote the French), now I'm playing the fiddle!

    Thank you thank you!

    Ah! ok!

On Windows this is the System Tray Icon. In 7.4 the default behaviour changed to open the Control Panel as opposed to the web interface.

After much debate, in 7.5 this will still be the default behaviour to begin with, but after that you can change it to open the web interface instead of the Control Panel. I presume this will be the same on OSX.

    http://localhost:9000/ should also work.

If you have any others, let me know, I'm interested!!

I understand the debate I saw another user reverting to 7.3 thinking there was no web-UI anymoore ? He did not recognize anything ?

Cant the installers on systems with a GUI just dump a shortcut to http://localhost:9000/ on the desktop or do they do that to ?

On my 7.4.1 mac install there is indeed a "web remote control" (?) button. It is hidden under the "advanced" settings tab. Used to be on the front page, if I remember right.
