Is this gadget still available? The download page (http://www.bencoleman.co.uk/squeezebox-gadget/) is just a 404 and nothing on his site about it. If anyone still has a copy I'd really appreciate getting a copy.

    Thanks in advance

Coming late on this one, but perhaps somebody will find it useful... Turns out, bencoleman.co.uk WAS archived in Wayback Machine, so you can use archive.org and reach the file

    https://web.archive.org/web/20101121...troller.gadget

Hope this helps. The gadget is now nicely working on my desktop. I know the author has probably moved to other pastures, but I'd still want to use the opportunity to thank him So thank you.

I just tried this on Windows 10 latest, and it works fine.

You need to install http://gadgetsrevived.com/download-sidebar/ in order to add support for gadgets back in. The you can download the gadget from the wayback machine and load it in Windows 10.

However, its pretty useless to me at the resolution I run my main and external monitors. The gadget is too small to be useable.

    Ben Coleman

Pretty sure these are Bens current blogs, he works at Microsoft, I've emailed him to ask if he has any interest in reviving the Windows Gadget or releasing the code for someone else to pickup.

Try running LMS inside Chrome in app mode. Totally separate window, no menus etc but resizable to suit.

From memory you create a shortcut to Chrome with the parameters --app="http://LMS:9000"

Thats exactly what the big window on the right is. The Windows gadget is the tiny window, and coincidentally, thats the shortcut for the BBc iPlayer Today list ;-)

Ben has confirmed it was his, and will look for the source code, if he still has it he'll let me have it and I'll have a look and see what I can do with it.

Turns out the latest version of http://8gadgetpack.net/ gets around the resolution issue and allows larger gadgets.
