This was the answer I got from Logitech, when explaining the problem and supplying the MAC-adress... :-(
This means - no support for products when they change owner in an "unauthorized" way, then we know that Logitech is not an environmental friendly company...

Changing mysqueezebox.com accounton the squeezebox

Hmm... I'll have to look deepter into this issue. Fired up my own
SliMP3, checked yours, too. None would show up in mysb.com. IIRC you
cannot connect them to mysb.com directly. You need to run LMS. But then
services should just work. Can't test this right now, but will.

Tried everything that I know of, and all it seems I have accomplished is to remove one of the P3s from my personal account, as it no longer shows up there. Can't connect to msb.com, as it still says I need a newer model. Also that it is registered to another account.
(Seems to me the folks who run that database may have wiped out all the P3s, as they no longer wish to have anything to do with them. But did not wipe everything clean, as it shows up as still registered, but is locked so that it can't be moved. Seems to fit in with previous posts.)
Well.................we have faith you will fix it!

You can't connect a SliMP3 to mysqueezebox.com. But that shouldn't hurt
as long as you're running LMS. All those Pi installations out there
can't connect either. And one of the main reasons they are there is
because they can still use the services provided by mysb.com through
LMS. So don't bother about your device being gone from mysb.com. It
shouldn't matter.
That "is registered to another account" must be a bug I introduced
somewhere over the past decade. Because I've now looked in to two cases
where that message was given, but the player did not exist in the
database. No record, no wrong account. And as I said: I'll have to look
into this.

That would have been me. But no, there still are quite a few records for
SliMP3s (which is what I assume you are referring to as "P3s"). It
wasn't a mass deletion of some kind.

Well..................afraid I am going to make more work for you.
Took EVERYTHING off of the company account, and started migrating back to my personal account (iow, the way it was before everything went haywire), and the results are mixed.
All that is on the network is one of the Slim P3s and possibly a Duet (that is buried under a ton of gear), and it works under some conditions.
I managed to find a Slim P3 that is still registered to my personal account, and everything is ok. But, if I hook up the Slim P3 that I took off of my personal account (and can not change its registration), it does not work. Since it is not in the database, as being registered to that account, all it does is give me the URL for the Pandora channels, but will not connect to them. All of this is with the old Win 7 laptop, that has LMS. (The company one uses a Linux laptop, that was a Win 8 one, but would NEVER run LMS. The only reason I never smashed that laptop was I did not want to fix any holes in the walls. It was a truly horrid machine. Works fine with Linux.)
(Perhaps I should explain the way all of this came about is because we have ALL of the WiFi turned off, and the Duet remotes need that to communicate with LMS. Most of the Duets are out of range of the router, and when I initialize them, I have to physically bring them to the other building where the router is. We went as far as buying some gizmos that made a WiFi access point. But, with all of our power and 'net outages, all of that gets to be a pain. So, everything is wired network only, and LMS is on a battery-powered laptop.)
So, having said all of that...................while it is not imperative, is there any way to put the Slim P3 that is in limbo back where it belongs? It would help, so I don't make the mistake of going "Oh, I can hook this one up....................we can use it", only to find it won't work because my memory is not what it used to be.

Not sure how or why the Pi devices show up, in our account. No need to register them, so not sure why they show up in MSB. They are there for A/B listening tests, for some product that we are building that we will probably only sell very few.
(One of the iterations is a major pain. When we use the USB output, to talk to one of our boxes, the sound sometimes comes out at a very slow speed. Everything needs to be rebooted when that happens. The other iterations are not so appealing, as they limit what we can do with the clock.)
Anyway, we only listen to them using music files in the library. Hard to evaluate anything listening to Pandora. (It is good for background noise, to drown out my tinnitus. Yes, it is safe to conclude I never participate in any important listening tests. Don't tell anyone!)

Changing mysqueezebox.com accounton the squeezebox
ar-t - there's too much noise in your postings... this thread's title
mentions changing the account for a Squeezebox. When would you get the
message about the SliMP3 being registered to a different person?
