Changing mysqueezebox.com account on the squeezebox

I can't PM Michael as I've only just opened this account so I could ask that my mac address be dissociated with my old squeezebox login. I still own the same SB Classic but it's been boxed up for +10 years. I no longer have access to the old email address it's registered to. Could someone please reset it. The MAC is 00:04:20:... and currently points to 'doug at msn.com.au'.

Please pm ( personnal message) to mherger and allow a few days for him to take care of this. Posting the mac address of any device on a public forum is setting the door wide open for any hacker. I recommend to remove that post asap.

Hi there
I got a bit of a problem. Can not change my old mysqeezbox.com account on my squeezebox v3. I really don't know the emailadres or password anymore. Just bought a new power adapter for my squeezebox and was happy too start it up after may years till i run into this problem. Can anyone help me please.

Post again to gain some more rights in the forum ... then send a PM to mherger with the details that you have (in particular the MAC address of the device).

You can also see the current registered email in the SB3 settings. Then do password recovery on MySB.com logon.

Thanks for your suggestion. The registered email belonged to a friend who isn't on this world anymore. But luckily the problem is already solved by mherger. Thumbs up for him.

My first post here. I got a second boom after the first one was originally bought somewhere in 2009(?) and it is still running. the slim server was running on a sheevaplug.
am I right that contacting Michael is kinda the only option the reset a user?

You can ask the previous owner to remove it from his account.
