    Question mini amp question

I've had decent success with SBR's hooked up to the discontinued sonic impact T-amps (model 5065) and have been looking for something similar to power speakers from yet another SBR. I don't need tons of power as the speakers are ceiling mounted in a bathroom, but wanted to know if anyone had any experience or comments on the Pyle PCA1 2x15 watt amp or their PTA2 2x40 watt amp? Hard to find specs on these amps and I'm wondering if they're comparable to the T-amp or if they're rubbish.

    Thanks!

I've been looking for a small amp as well and TriPath-chip-based amps doesn't seem like a bad buy:
http://shop.ebay.com/?_nkw=hlly <-- hlly makes some amps
    http://shop.ebay.com/?_nkw=tripath <-- tripath search
    http://shop.ebay.com/?_nkw="class+t" <-- "class t" search
These might yield some useful results.

I didn't realize there was a direct successor to the T-amp available. And at a much better price than the Sonic Impact 5065's I currently have. Looking over the specs on all three I think the T-amp is a better fit than the Pyle amps. Especially given its lower THD levels and an arguably nicer form factor.

    Thanks for the links!

    Several Great Options

    Check out these choices:

The Virtue Audio amps - virtueaudio.com
    The Trends 10.1 or 10.2 T-amp
    The pop-pulse Tsunami amp - http://www.audio-magus.com/

Both the Virtue and the Trends sound great - the Virtue even better. I have not heard the pop-pulse.

    Virtue all the way!

I have to say, I have a Virtue TWO, and I love it. I was looking for a Tripath based amp, with more power, and I have not looked back since I got my little red brick. It's got the bass I was looking for, it's driving speakers that are not very sensitive and even my wife is happy with the sound and the looks!

    Virtue Audio

Anybody know where to buy this gear? When to their website and they don't have any electronics for sell other then Power Supplies.

The One and Two show as Sold Out. And the Sensation M451 isn't ready for sell yet and looks like maybe its a replacement for the One and Two as people that bought before April 2009 get full credit toward a Sensation M451. So it looks like they don't have anything for sale.
