    PDA controller solution

    Hello guys
This is only my second post in this forum - so warm greetings to everyone.

I have developed a little software to controll clients in a Squeeze network via PDA.

    Check out the homepage:
    http://www.sciatec.de/SlimControl

And drop me a line in this thread if you are having any troubles or ideas.

    Cheers,
    Sebastian

    Thanks guys

Have you tried to install it?
I would love to gather some information about device & OS compatibility.

And, hey - I just found out about the attachment feature.
    So here's a screenshot.

    Hi Locuth

I installed SlimControl last night on a HTC Touch Pro. The Touch Pro is a mobile phone/PDA that runs Windows Mobile 6.1 professional and has a 480x640 screen.

First impressions are that SlimControl is a nice well written application, it's good to look at, seems stable and is much more responsive than using a web-browser.

I was unable to browse my library from SlimControl but that's (I think) because I haven't registered it yet (I've sent the email).

I had a few connection issues, I think due to the my phone trying to use GSM instead of WiFi to connect to the server. Once I turned the phone part off then I was able to connect to my SquezeCenter and everything seemed to work properly. SlimControl had no problems with the operating system or the higher screen resolution of the Touch Pro.

Thanks making this available, it's a very nice app.

Putting Slim Control on Today Screen

    Sebastian

I've just loaded SlimControl onto my hp4150. Haven't had the chance to try it out at home yet. Just one Q though. Is it possible to get SlimControl on to the Today screen? I have a couple of other regularly used progs that can be set to be on Today, but I don't see that it's possible with SlimC.

    Thanks

    Keith

    Of course it is :-)
I put it on my list.
