    Squeezelite processing on DSD recordings?

    Is there any post-processing Squeezelite or LMS is doing on DSD files, specifically .dsf?

    I have several .dsf files that are coming across USB as PCM files at a very high resolution, however they should report as DSD64 files.

    I'm using a server/streamer (VortexBox) connected to a PSAudio Directstream DAC over USB.

    There really aren't any options offered. When you select the DSDPlayer Plugin option, it just says:

    "This player supports native playback of DSD files. DSD-over-PCM should be configured on the player configuration interface."

    I don't know how to adjust those as Squeezelite is installed as part of my server (VortexBox) and there is no interface for adjust them, unless there is something that can be done at the command prompt. As far as I know, it's installed with the "default" settings.

    Is there any way to confirm that Vortex box USB driver support DSD format ?
    Any simple audio player to play direct ?

    It has worked in the past. And it is a SoTM USB card running in a Linux Box. No drivers.

    Is there a choice for the ALSA device you are using as output ?

    Yes. I use hw:0,0 which is the PS Audio DirectStream DAC. All music plays on it, even DSD files. They just aren't playing as DoP. Something is getting in the way and they are playing as PCM.

    I don't know the commands to check further.
