General network question

Hey folks

I just purchased the duet and I'm curious as to limitations with the server and the device/client. Currently my Linux box is in a separate network from most of the house network so my question is....

Can the server and the player be in different broadcast domains?

It's not a big deal if no. I just just gotta change a bunch of stuff...

Yes they can, but server auto-discovery won't work - you'll have to enter the server's IP manually.
