i was reading something about hd am or am digital, that be take time.

    Code:
    https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/12/03/2020-25252/all-digital-am-broadcasting-revitalization-of-the-am-radio-service
This is why SDR offer flexibility for the future for radio broadcasting.

With mobile networks & internet, there are only a few commercial situations to justify updating AM/FM networks to digital and then you have user resistance. Many countries are shutting down DAB services, keeping FM as range is worse than FM and internet (over 3G/4G/5G) gives all the added features - higher quality services are offered over internet - no need for two "broadcast" HD networks.

well im using a terk antenna and it improves a lot am tunning. i get like +5 stations plus better sound, still some noise typical from am .

everything good now with setup, but if i do a fast change tuning via each link or after few tunings and few hours the shark stop working , i have to reboot picoplayer to bring it back, sometimes works plugin and unpluggin the shark.

    thanks a lot!

thanks for the patience bpa, i see post from 12 years old wow!

question if i plug both sharks 1 and 2 it be work? thanks!
Yes, but you'd have to copy and modify the rs-stream.sh script to find the 2nd radioshark device.

Usually ALSA adds _1 to the device name when there are 2 devices the same.

Then run the modified script on a different port.

    Code:
    /usr/local/bin/tcpserver -R 0 9102 /mnt/mmcblk0p2/tce/rs-stream2.sh

My rs-stream script does not use or require the radioshark plugin.

question pcp 7.0 have an old version of pcp-streamer .tcz? i mean its not update it? i read that on yesterday post.

I also noticed that the pcp-streamer extension in pcp 7 is an older version than what's in pcp 6, not sure how this keeps happening. I"ll fix that too.
its any difference update one ?

edit, i update it, its improve anything on the shark functionality?

    thanks

no, the rs-stream script has the changes from v1.04 applied. the other components of the pcp-streamer.tcz you are using are the same in both versions.

I just posted an update and temporary work around in the pcp7 thread.

You can just change the radioSHARK to RadioSHARK
