NEW RULES: RE:Behavior in this discussion area

    All,

As this discussion area resulted in the highest number of threads that devolve from intelligent discussions into personal flame wars, we're going to start living by some stricter rules here.

Any personal attacks against another forum member will now result in a temporary ban on the forum. That will be your first and only warning.

If any member who has had their warning again resorts to further personal attacks they will be banned permanently from this forum.

NOTE: retaliating against a personal attack with another personal attack will also get you banned. Please report the poster instead, and they will be dealt with.

This takes effect immediately as of 11/05/08.

    Thank you.

This a hobby. I do it for fun. And many of the threads here have not
    been fun.

What set this off? Just some examples so we know what heated stuff is? I must have missed something.
If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use is the rule.

Wake up, and see recent postings. There was more than a little nasty stuff.

I'm usually awake when I read the forums. Sometimes a bit sleepy. Maybe you mean ignorant as in not seeing the light. I'll try harder to see it all now Pat. Thanks

I don't visit as much as I used to and may have missed a bit of the flaming... but is the above an example of what we are NOT supposed to do??
I like it, you may not. I understand and respect that.

Sorry, in review, it was an example of being rude.

Happy New Year, I'll try to do better
