    duette controller without network

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to use the duette controller as a remote for softsqueeze if I'm not at home (so without anny network but with my pc wireless on).

This is most likely not possible or it's complicated.

In order for it to be possible, you'd have to establish an ad-hoc network with your laptop (i.e. the laptop would have to act as an access point, which not all wireless software will allow). You would have to point all port requests to your remote SqueezeCenter IP - it may be port 3483 and 9000 but I'm not sure if the Controller uses different ports.

Quite complicated, many stumbling blocks and showstoppers. I doubt it would work.
