    New firmware v.20

Well I took the plunge. Haven't really had time to test yet, but two things to report:
    1) it has killed native support for wma under win32 - back to white noise static again [so I can't tell whether it will help with the drop out issue I have when playing wma :-(]
    2) it has killed my softsqueeze - which gets stuck on the "press brightness to upgrade" bit - though that is a softsqueeze issue I suppose.
    Cheers
    Chris

did you JUST upgrade firmware, or did you get a lot of new cvs code as well?
The default format to play to squeezebox when wired has recently become aif.
This can cause noice since it is the opposite endian of wav data.

try entering 20 on the startup for the firmware version.
