There's a slight misconfiguration, all e-mails are sent with "boom" as the sender.

This is a slight annoyance, but what's a little more confusing is that replies from the mailing list to the forum contain the same name. Looks like Caleb replied by e-mail here:

but you can't really tell it's him.

I've been trying to get this list added to Gmane, but their admin has been unable to confirm the subscription. As per his request below, please subscribe gmesb-boom@m.gmane.org to the boom mailing list (without requiring a confirmation email). Thanks!

The subscription request got stuck. I just tried again and got this
from the mailing list software: "TO ACCESS THE MAILING LIST SYSTEM:
Start your web browser on http://lists.slimdevices.com/", which I did,
grudingly (there's a reason for email-based subscription handling,
after all. For example: it's automatable.), but there I only found "If
you can read this page it means that the Apache HTTP server installed
at this site is working properly."

Could you ask the list admin to subscribe gmesb-boom@m.gmane.org to
the list?
