    Fishbone/Browse Artwork Issue

Hmmm... have I upset someone or what? This is the second time I've posted
to the group over the last week and received no response at all.

To repeat the issue - using the 'Browse Artwork' feature of any of the skins
that support it I get only the text placeholders rather than cover art. If
I've recently viewed one of the albums through a different view (such as
'Browse Music Folder') the artwork does appear.

I have a combination of artwork stored within my ID3 tags and many of the
albums also have a separate file in the folder (folder.jpg for compliance
    with XP).

I've tried rescanning, etc. to no avail. Can anyone offer a suggestion? By
the way I'm running Server v5.1.1 under XP. My music is all MP3, no other
types mixed in at this point.

    Thanks again,

    Tom

It's that icky bit of broccoli between your front teeth, here, here's a
    toothpick.

This is typical of community-based support. If your question is unclear,
or no one knows the answer, or no one has time to answer it at the
moment you send it, it doesn't get answered. This is because hundreds of
"I don't know" responses tend to annoy.

I don't have any problem here, but my art work is named cover.jpg, none
of it is in the id3v2 tag, and I'm not running XP.

Email must be messed up today for me. I've not even seen the original post yet.

Are you using Moodlogic? If so, the scanning required for browse by artwork
doesn't take place. Try turning off moodlogic, or download the latest nightly
build and it should work for you. If not, try running:
    c:\program files\slimserver\server\slim.exe --d_info
add --d_artwork for the nightly build.

This will give you output that tracks the scan and the information on where the
server is finding or not finding artwork.
