Maybe we need detailed instructions as to how to authorized the SN account to Last.fm. I got it to work by trying to authorize it a few times, but I can not tell you "specifically" what made it work. There is a little square you can check next to the account and an authorize link to right. Some people might think that just checking the little box will authorize the account, but it doesn't. I'm afraid that end users are going to continue to run into this issue.. maybe a few words (a little hint) next to Authorize link.

    It's quite simple really:

    1. Click the Authorize link
    2. Login to Last.fm if needed, make sure you login with the correct
    account you want to authorize.
    3. Click the "Authorize" button on the Last.fm site to authorize SN to
    access your Last.fm account.
    4. This redirects back to the SN Last.fm page and the authorize link
should go away, meaning your account is now authorized.

What do you think we could do to make this more clear?

Have the 4 points you just mentioned listed in the Accounts -> Last.fm tab in the SN Web UI. Besides the last.fm account userid, pwd and available players this is what it says.

"Enter your Last.fm username and password. Multiple accounts may be entered if you wish to submit tracks from different players to different accounts. To delete an existing account, check the box next to it"

When I read it the first time... I said... What?... Nothing is mentioned about clicking the link to authorize and follow the other 3 steps you mentioned. It's left completely to the end user to figure it out.

Fair enough, I'll try and write some more helpful text.

    I've added the following text:

"To access Last.fm Radio, you must first authorize your account. To do
this, click the "Authorize this account" link and you will be taken to
the Last.fm website. If necessary, login to Last.fm with the account
you wish to authorize, and then click the button marked "Yes, allow
access". After doing this, you will be redirected back to
SqueezeNetwork and your account will be authorized for radio access."

Also, I added some text to show when an account is authorized.

Following those steps, the auth. link never goes away for me. Tried multiple times on 3 different machines (2 Macs, 1 PC), 3 different browsers (Safari, FF, IE7). Step 4 is either the login page for SqueezeNetwork.com or it looks exactly the same as it did before (the auth. link is still there). The URL for the final page is http://www.squeezenetwork.com/user/a...stfm?token=XXX (where XXX is a 32 character string of numbers and letters).

I get the same results even after clearing cache and cookies...

The only time I've seen this behavior is if you authorize while logged
into a different Last.fm account than the one you entered on SN.

    Same account both places (SubFuze).

Andy thanks for the fast response... little hints like the above at the point of execution make it easier for average Joes like me.

I had Last.fm working perfectly earlier via SN, but now if I attempt to play anything I get the message 'Invalid method signature supplied' displayed on the SB3.

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks, Adam.
