I find it strange that the SB3 is faulty, I have 2, and they both have same error...

that is curious...still think you should call support so they can troubleshoot with you.

    Temporary fix:

Edit file "squeezebox2.version" in "firmware" directory (open in notepad):

    -----------------------------------------------
    # Squeezebox2 firmware

    # from to
    # from1..from2 to

    1..81 81

    # future versions may be downgraded to this one
    * 81
    ------------------------------------------------

(or overwrite with the version-file from SS 6.5.4)

I just downloaded the lattest nightly (7.0.1 - 18409) and got the same error on updating the squeezebox3 (fw 86).

After a factory reset the update worked.

    Hi!

I have fixed the problem now:
-I had the SB3 on a switch, I changed that for a router,
and did the update with no problem! Must be a adress-sharing problem(?) because of the switch?

My Transporter, don't connect with my Daphile Server.
It goes strough the connexion process but failed and report:

It works using Wireless connection but failed to connect when using LAN.
    Daphile run LMS 7.9.2

    • Reset to Factory Settings, don't solved the problem

    • Turning on-off my router don't solve the problem

    Try Xilinx reset.
Also make sure no items in playlist before Transporter is powered on

IR usually refers to a remote control - make sure no other IR controller (especially non Slimdevice) nearby sending strange commands

Xylinx and Factory reset didn't help.

But using a different Daphile installed on a different motherboard, works right away...
Both Daphile are running the same version, it's now time to investigate on Daphile...
