    Ripstation Micro

Works very well and easy to use.

A few things that should improve Ripstation Micro.

    1. ReplayGain.

    2. A way to Manual Edit the Metadata even if Ripstation finds all data. I like to add the artistname to albumnames like "Greatest Hits (Artistname)" instead of just "Greatest Hits".

    3. Add Genre to the Path.

    OK ok ok

all is fine now. the GD3 catalogue is convincing me, I ripped a couple of really quite obscure records, sampled at random from my collection and got all but one. Very interesting

Good call on the features and all are in progress.

Replaygain is now completed and will be in end of March release.

The preview window will be ditable for the basic level metadata.

We have also added 12 new variables for the next release for file and folder naming, to bring it more in line with our pro products.

Adds latest Falc build plus embedded artwork for Flac

Adds on the Fly NAS copy system ( move from local drive to NAS as each album is ripped)

If you registered for a key code with a valid email address, we will email you when this is released

    To netim3:

    DS adds:

    Default to Flac
    NAS on the fly load
    Flac latest version
    Flac embedded cover art
    PNG file output

This product was designed as a change list to Micro for Linn to support the formats required natively by their DS series products.

Hi Ripfactory, I'm very interested in your unit. I've got some questions for you.
Can your unit be used as storage device also? I mean can I create shares on it? Does it support Mac (Leopard)?

Which version of SlimServer (I should say SqueezeCenter) is installed? Do u plan to support future releases of this software?

Last but not least will you apply additional costs for shipping to Italy if I buy online?

    Thanks in advance and regards

    Hi

The unit allows you to create additional shares and ships with open shares:

    music
    video
    photos
mp3 (designed so you can index seperatley if you transcode to say Flac and MP3 )

    Mac is fine

Squeezecenter current version is installed and this will be updated to the latest V7 once Duet testing has completed.

There is no additional shipping cost on line, no matter the country.

seems like you have been doing your homework.

Any multi-HDD version (with Raid capabilities) expected in the future?

    thanks,

    Giacomo

Thanks for your quick reply, you're really tempting me!!

Last tech question: are u planning to implement a sort of standy mode for hard-disk? This would be a real killing-feature for home users.
