Subject: [slim] How to configure shoutcast to interface winamp to
    slimserver?

I would like to listen to radio stations such as the BBC on my stereo
using a squeezebox interfaced to a PC running XP. Following a recent
discussion here on this topic, I have installed the tara plugin in
winamp, and that is working fine. I have also installed the shoutcast
plugin into winamp. I am now stuck.

Could someone provide the details on how to configure the shoutcast
plugin to get it to stream its output into a playlist file to be read by
the squeezebox. An example of a playlist file would be great. Do I need
to install the shoutcast server and actually broadcast to the world?
What do I use for a url in the shoutcast output configuration?

Needless to say, this field is new to me, so detailed instructions would
be much appreciated. If there is a better way to do this with XP, I
would also appreciate hearing about it. Thanks in advance.
