Hi.
I've got a squeezebox in my living room by my stereo, and I love it.
However, there are times I would like to be able to stream to a different room or the garage. Is there any product that picks up slimserver streams, that is also portable?
I'm basically thinking a squeezebox with speakers. AC or batteries for power.
Anything?

Search the forums for SqueezeBox BoomBox.
There is no such product, but lots of folks want it and
you can make one by taking a boombox that has RCA jacks and
plugging your SqueezeBox into the jacks

Yep - more Squeezeboxes. I've got 5, including one in the garage. If you spend a lot of time in the garage and driveway, it's well worth it.
