Squeezebox w/ 5.01 Slim Server
WinXP SP1
Flac installed and added to the "PATH"(open "cmd" type Flac... I get all the
flac "help" stuff, so it's in the "path" right?)
I'm still unable to play FLAC, the display either jumps around or does
nothing and just stays with the song I've selected in the display window.
How can I get the squeezebox to play flac?

FLAC help please...
Hi Dan,
FLAC support has been improved dramatically in the pre-release version
available here:
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest
Give that at try...

FLAC help please...NO GO...
-Updated to nightly build with .exe to 12/28, updated firmware.
-Opened GUI played some .mp3's
- rebooted cpu
-browsed on squeezebox to some flacs. Just display's selection no sound.
Is it true I can't play a flac when I have the SlimServer GUI open?
(PS. the squeezebox interface was very slow...but I'll put that to the cpu
doing "something" ????)
Any other suggestions?
