    SB1 IR receiver broken

    I have an SB1 w/ a broken IR receiver. I verified this by jumpering the IR board from a working SB1 to my broken one and IR then worked. I am trying to find out the part number of the IR receiver so I can replace it myself. I've emailed support but have not heard back in days. Anybody know who the manufacturer and what the part number is for the IR receiver? Thanks!

    how long does it take to get a response from support? i sent an email to them 5 days ago and haven't heard anything yet...

    Usually they respond is well under 24 hrs. Check your spam filter... if you really haven't heard from them, try calling 650.210.9400.

    5 days is far too long. They are usually very quick, but sometimes the
    responses have gotten lost in spam filters. Certainly, it is always
    possible that a message simply fell through the cracks. I expect they
    are rather flooded due to the increased activity since the logitech
    purchase. Occasionally there are posts here from ppl who have been
    missed (easily solved by a quick fwd to KP at SD), so hopefully you'll
    hear more soon.

    you guys rock!

    i got an email from support saying they have the IR module and also a replacement screen since my screen is dead too. since i work nearby they said i can stop by and pick them up. i just got back with my replacement parts. now that is customer service!!!
