help with setting lame up for streaming, for a complete dummy

Ok I'm the thick kid in class, anyone who can give a thick kid (that's
English for stupid not fat you crazy yanks) help on setting up the
streaming function. I just need the complete idiots guide to setting up
lame etc (I am running xp with active perl and the perl server 5.01
    slimserver)

Is it close enough to be wishing merry Christmas (or a proper crimbo) to
    you lot

    All the best

Its just like the idiots guide you were given after your last request. Although
it was written for Linux, the basics are very much the same for windows.

the file: convert.conf that you have to edit, is located in c:\program
files\slimserver\convert.conf for windows, instead of /usr/local/slimserver.

To install LAME, you need to find the EXE version and save it to a place in your
PATH, c:\winnt (for win2k at least, maybe c:\windows for XP if c:\winnt doesnt
    exist)

you can download lame for win32 from here:
