Adding Stations

IS is possible to add internet stations of my choice that are not part of the ones that come pre programmed on squeeze?

How do I do this?

Yes, you can define them as Favorites.

Don't have access to SQN right now. But go to the settings page. You
should find it there.

It's pretty straightforward. Go to www.squeezenetwork.com and sign in.

Go to Favourites (http://www.squeezenetwork.com/settings/favorites)

At the bottom of the page is a box "Add Favourites".

Add your favourite of choice. There are some limitations as to the types of streams that can be added to Squeezenetwork by the way, but AFAIK, a .asp stream will work ok. If not, you may need to use URLSnooper or similar to find the stream address hidden behind it.

Also, some of these net stations dont display the artist name on SB screen...........

Not all stations send the metadata with the audio stream. If they don't send it, SB can't display it.

Tell them to add this information to the stream :-)
