    Question re Softsqueeze Fwd button

According to the FAQ at http://softsqueeze.sourceforge.net/faq.html
the "b" button is supposed to execute the "fwd" function. I had
assumed that this meant it would do a fast fwd within the currently
playing track. However on my set up it just seems to go back to the
beginning of the currently playing track (which is what I find rew
does as well). Have I misunderstood what fwd is supposed to do?

    Regards,
    Phill

"b" moves forward to the next track for me? If you press and hold "b" it
will start scanning through the currently playing track.
