How to identify which Squeezebox 3 I have

    Hi,

Now that SB3 Wireless have an internal antenna; what is the quickest way of identifying a SB3 (wired-only or wireless).
SB3, Rotel RC-1070/RB-1070, dynaBel Exact, Kimber Kable 4TC and Timbre.

I guess the only way would be to start it up. If it asks which networking method you want to use, wired or wireless, then you have a wireless.

Look at the bottom. The wired-only ones say "wired-only".

Indeed it does - it is easy to overlook until you know what to look for.

Does the wireless one say wireless or nothing?

The wireless ones say "Contains FCC ID: Q72WLANTPBG" which is the FCC approval of the wireless card we put in.

If you're really interested, you can even look it up at https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/c...ericSearch.cfm
