Move library from iTunes Mac to iTunes PC?

Does anyone know if it's possible / easy to move the iTunes Library from a
Mac across to iTunes on a PC?

I'm keen to operate the Slim server software from a PC instead of the Mac if
possible, but it would be a shame to lose the ratings I've already entered
into the Mac library if I moved onto the PC version of iTunes.

The library xml file should be more or less the same, but you will have to do
some find/replaces to change the directory names when you move from mac to windows.
I would suggest creating a new library and comparing the format of the folder
information just so you can be sure what you have to change. Don't worry, the
xml file is readable in any text editor (wordpad, textpad, ultraedit, etc)
