Here's a test...

- Started with a clean iTunes... Deleted all the Library and moved the
files out of the music folder. Everything is in default locations.
- Ripped first six songs from Beatles #1 album. So, iTunes has only six
songs.

From this clean situation, the player works FINE on the Jaguar machine,
from either the remote OR the web interface.

So, I have a problem that's dependent either on
- the specific music files
- the number of songs.

I'll do some more experiments. When the server gets stuck, there is
nothing interesting in top or the log (in /private/tmp).

Is there any problem with mp3 files from eMusic?
