    music magic moods

is it possible to access music magic moods through the slimserver web interface? it seems this would be the most useful feature, since the moods create some really cool playlists.

I don't think so. You have to use the MMM itself. If it's a feature you want, post it on the Predixis forum here: http://forums.predixis.com/. I think they are working on several ways to integrate MMM more closely with SS.

MusicMagic stores these as playlists, but they are located within the
MMM directory structure (different for different OS) and well outside of
the slimserver scans. The best way to be able to put this into
slimserver would be if the API could give a list of the moods by name,
    as they do for filters.

Using moods is already filed as an enhancement request for slimserver.

feel free to add your addy to the cc-list for that.

can the MM Moods directory be set as the Playlist directory in Slimserver, and will this work?

I've installed but not used MMM yet as I am still busy slugging through the re-riping of my collection to FLAC and replaygaining them using the PERL script that someone on these forums had written. It's on my list to investigate. I note that I have Mood Logic installed. Is this a default plugin or did I install it with something else? Can I disable it safely?

not at this time. The enhancement includes this possible feature, but
it is not a priority. The integration is not intended to cover 100%
of the MusicMagic API, but patches are welcome as always.

slimserver has a plugin for MoodLogic, but the MoodLogic software must
have been installed by you at some point. You can use or disable at
will. It is not exclusive of MusicMagic importing.
