    OSX filepaths

didnt get much (any) reposnse to this in general discussion but it occurs to me this might be a better place for it:

to date ive used itunes to manage my music files which live on a network storage device. The itunes path to them is something like

    \\Tera1\share\itunes3

but when i decided to give direct non-itunes direct access to the music files a go within server settings the above doesnt work = nor does

    /tera1/share/itunes3

when i use GETINFO on the networked drive i might get a complex statement beginning with cifs or nts but they dont work either - what should the correct path be?

the facts are the storage name is tera1 the folder is SHARE and the music folder is itunes3 - can anyone help?

    mine is at /volumes/media/itunes
where media is a partition on a ex fw drive so yours could be
    /volumes/tera1/share/itunes3,
    give it a try.
