    Wired SB2s

    Are the wired SB2s all gone? I notice they've vanished off the buy it web page.

    That's right. They're sold out. Have a few more wireless models
    here, tho'....

    old case design has its place

    fwiw -

    The SB3 has a giant silver metal bar on the bottom. That changes the
    unit from being unobtrusive and neutral like the low profile of the
    black SliMP3/SB/SB2 to being something that stands out visably in a
    room. Its visible face surface is larger and the metal stands out.
    Sometimes the simple black slimp3/sb/sb2 case design is desirable...

    The sb3 was rejected as a replacement for my old sb near the tv for
    this reason.

    (the sb3 however does look great in place of the platinum sb2)
